| Allyson

At 32 years of age, Allyson wanted to regain the appropriate youthfulness of her smile. She had worn her front teeth down and wanted a lighter color. She was what is called a ‘vertical wearer’ meaning that she chewed up and down, not side to side. She had also worn down her back teeth and a special splint was made for her to wear on her lower teeth until she was ready to alter her lower back teeth.
When a person’s bite changes in the front, it often also affects the back teeth requiring restorative care on them to correct the acquired malocclusion (bad bite). Phasing dental care into affordable portions is the approach that Allyson chose to take.
Ten empress veneers were custom made for her and she must wear a soft interior/hard exterior nightguard while sleeping to protect her new smile.
